The Mitsui Kyoto Hotel embodies the essence of Japan, framed by the historic buildings of the ancient city of Awashima Nagaizumi, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Located on the same grounds as Park Hyatt Kyoto, MitsUI Kyoto shares its heritage with the city's historic architecture. Guests will find all the steps leading to the traditional gastronomic institution Ryotei, which opened in 1877 and serves authentic, seasonal kaiseki cuisine. In addition to a hotel garden that reinterprets classic Japanese design in a modern way, the Mitsuei Drinking and Dining Restaurant offers views of the park and its natural beauty, as well as a variety of natural attractions.

Located in the Kansai metropolitan area, the city has access to all major cities in Japan, including Osaka, Tokyo, Hiroshima, Nagoya and Fukuoka. Kyoto is also easily accessible and we have transport links here, including the Kyushu Expressway and Kyoto Metro, as well as a number of railway stations. The region is known for its high quality of life, natural beauty and cultural heritage, which provide the hotel with a rich foundation. It is one of the most popular destinations in Japan and a popular destination for tourists from all over the world.

If you have a free Ritz-Carlton overnight stay certificate, Kyoto is a better choice than Tokyo, but you have to choose between two highly rated properties that are dramatically different. If you have the option of a "free night" at the Hyatt, it's worth having the free night certificates for the Ritz Carlton.

The two companies have already worked together on a number of other Starwood properties in Japan, including the Hyatt Regency Tokyo and the Ritz-Carlton Tokyo. Other star-gazing excursions outside Japan include hotels in Tokyo, Osaka, Nagoya, Fukuoka and Kyoto, and a hotel in Osaka.
